The longevity of a perfume after application can vary significantly depending on several factors. Firstly, the concentration of aromatic compounds in the perfume formulation plays a crucial role. Perfumes with a higher concentration of these compounds, such as parfum or extrait de parfum, tend to last longer—often up to 6 to 8 hours or more—due to their higher intensity.
To update your account information, you typically need to log in to the relevant website or application where your account is held. Look for a section labeled "Account Settings," "Profile," or something similar. Once you're in the account settings area, you should find options to update various pieces of information such as your name, email address, password, billing details, and more.
Storing your perfumes properly is important to maintain their quality and longevity. Perfumes are sensitive to light, temperature, and air exposure, so it's best to store them in a cool, dark, and dry place. Direct sunlight can degrade the fragrance and alter its composition over time. Therefore, avoid displaying your perfumes on windowsills or other areas where they will be exposed to light for extended periods.
Additionally, fluctuations in temperature and humidity can also affect the scent and consistency of your perfumes. Aim to store them in a consistent environment away from heat sources such as radiators or heaters. Bathrooms, which can be warm and humid due to showers, are generally not ideal for perfume storage.

The distinction between perfume, eau de parfum, eau de toilette, and eau de cologne lies primarily in their concentration of fragrance oils and their overall strength and longevity.
Perfume, also known as extrait de parfum or pure perfume, is the most concentrated form of fragrance, containing the highest percentage of aromatic compounds typically ranging from 15% to 40%. This results in a potent, long-lasting scent that can linger for hours or even days.
Eau de parfum (EDP) is slightly lighter than pure perfume but still contains a high concentration of fragrance oils, usually around 15% to 20%. EDPs are long-lasting and suitable for daily wear, providing a strong and noticeable fragrance.
Eau de toilette (EDT) is lighter than eau de parfum, with a fragrance oil concentration of about 5% to 15%. EDTs are often more affordable and are ideal for everyday use. They usually have a shorter longevity compared to EDPs but still provide a pleasant scent.
Eau de cologne (EDC) is the lightest and most diluted form of fragrance, containing around 2% to 4% aromatic compounds. EDCs are typically refreshing and citrusy and are designed to be applied more liberally throughout the day. They have the shortest longevity among these categories but are great for a quick, uplifting burst of fragrance.
